Members considered a paper from External Audit on progress in delivering their responsibilities as the Council’s external auditors. The paper included a summary of emerging relevant national issues and developments and a number of challenge questions in respect of these emerging issues which the Committee may wish to consider.

Grant Thornton undertook to circulate to members a report on alternative delivery models in local government (Action: Gareth Kelly).

RESOLVED, that the report be received.
