Purpose:

To appoint Independent School Admission Appeal and Exclusion Review Panel members

Decisions:

The Assistant Director – Corporate Governance presented a report concerned with the appointment of members to the Cumbria School Admissions Appeal Panel and also the Exclusion Reviews Panel.

 

RESOLVED,that

 

                  (1)    members be appointed to the Independent School Admissions Appeals Panel and the Independent School Exclusion Reviews Panel (as set out in Appendix 1 to the report) for the period 2015 to 30 March 2017;

 

                  (2)    the Assistant Director - Corporate Governance (Acting as the Clerk to the Panels) be authorised to appoint members in the event that a need arises for additional appointments to either the Admission or Exclusion Panel.
