Decisions:

The local committee considered a report from the Corporate Director – Environment & Community Services, which advised them on the current position with regard to the statutory consultation and advertisement for the Penrith Traffic Regulation Order that was currently ongoing.  It sought confirmation of the resolution made by the Local Committee at its meeting on 3rd February 2015 subject to there being no further unresolved representations during the remainder of the statutory consultation period and provides the facility to consider any representations that are made between the date of writing of this report and the end of the statutory consultation period.

 

The Traffic Management Team Leader confirmed that there had not been any unresolved representations between the preparation of this report and the end of the statutory consultation period, on 18 July 2015. 

 

Therefore it was RESOLVED to,

 

(1)         Extend the Controlled Parking Zone A to include the marked bay on Castle Hill Road south of its junction with Castle Drive.

 

(2)         Amend the Penrith Restricted Zone to include Little Dockray.

 

(3)         Extend the current No Waiting at Any Time restriction on the west side of Castle Hill Road from its junction with Kilgour Street for approximately 25m in a southerly direction.

 

(4)         Introduce a No Waiting at Any Time restriction on the short section of road outside numbers 9 & 10 Sandcroft.
