To note the Forum’s Terms of Reference.

To elect a Chairman for the ensuing year.  Under the terms of the Forum’s Constitution the Chairman must be a Member of Cumbria County Council.

To note the following changes to membership and re-appointments.

District Council representation:-

To confirm as a correct record the Minutes of the meeting of Cumbria Pensions Forum held on 05 October 2012 (copy enclosed)

To receive a presentation on the Pension Scheme Annual Report and Accounts 2012/2013 and the Funding Strategy Statement 2013.  Copies of the Annual Report and Accounts will be avaliable on the Council’s website from November 2013 at www.cumbria.gov.uk/finance

Your Pensions Service, represented by Diane Lister, will present on the performance of the pensions administration service and the up and coming national LGPS changes e.g. the introduction of LGPS 2014.

Presentation by the Actuary (Mercers, represented by John Livesey) on the progress and results to date of the 2013 Triennial Valuation.

To remind attendees that the Pensions Committee agenda also has a standing item to provide a formal opportunity for Non-County Council employers or interested parties to raise questions or concerns relating to the Pensions Scheme at the quarterly Pension Committee.  Any comments can be made in writing to Legal & Democratic Services, Lonsdale Building, The Courts, Carlisle CA3 8NA.
