ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

To elect a Chairman for the ensuing year.  Under the terms of the Forum’s Constitution the Chairman must be a Member of Cumbria County Council.

ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS 2013/2014 INCLUDING THE FUNDING STRATEGY STATEMENT 2014

To receive a presentation on the Pension Scheme Annual Report and Accounts 2013/14 and the Funding Strategy Statement 2014.

UP AND COMING CHANGES

This session will cover key up and coming governance changes and recent national consultations impacting on the Local Government Pension Scheme.

PENSIONS ADMINISTRATION

Your Pensions Service, represented by Julie Wigg, will present on the performance of the pensions administration service.

8.

ACTUARIAL VALUATION

Presentation by the Actuary (Mercers - represented by John Livesey) on comparator results across the Local Governor Pension Scheme (LGPS) following the 2013 triennial valuation and the financial considerations for employers of Membership of the LGPS. 

9.

REPRESENTATION FROM NON-COUNTY COUNCIL EMPLOYERS AND DISTRICT COUNCIL

To remind attendees that the Pensions Committee agenda also has a standing item to provide a formal opportunity for Non-County Council employers or interested parties to raise questions or concerns relating to the Pensions Scheme at the quarterly Pension Committee.  Any comments can be made in writing to Legal & Democratic Services, The Lonsdale Building, The Courts, Carlisle, CA3 8NA.
