make recommendations to the Council on the
appointment of the Chief Executive

approve the
terms and
conditions of appointment
of the
Chief Executive.
In relation to Corporate Directors and
statutory officers, to deal with their appointment, terms and
conditions, disciplinary action and grievances, make decisions in
relation to the compulsory redundancy and applications for
Voluntary
Redundancy/Early Retirement.
