Future Arrangements for the Service and Repair of Complex and Simple Equipment

Lifts and hoists are required to be regularly serviced and inspected in accordance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and Provision of Use at Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).  These regulations cover equipment supplied to people living in their own homes and users in a residential setting. The current contractual arrangements to provide these services are scheduled to end on 28th February 2015. Cabinet approval is sought to agree how we provide these service from 1st March 2015
