Local Committee Highways Delegations in relation to parking

To delegate responsibility for effective parking enforcement together with the administration of the on street resident permit scheme to Local Committees. This is in addition to the powers and duties of the County Council which the Local Committees already exercise under Parts I, II and IV of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the parking charges scheme.
This new responsibility will include the responsibility for any costs incurred and the ability to retain any revenue to offset costs and reinvest in the local highway network
