Planning Performance Agreement (PPA) - Dumfries & Galloway Strategic Reinforcement Project

To seek authorisation for Cumbria County Council to enter into a Planning Performance Agreement (PPA) with Scottish Power along with Carlisle City Council. In addition, it is to inform Cabinet Members of a Phase 1 consultation by Scottish Power to consider potential route options for the scheme. This consultation is expected during the Summer 2015.   The re-electrification could involve landscape and visual effects on a number of local member electoral divisions around Carlisle.
