Earlier this year the government introduced
statutory guidance in relation to how the Council should work both
internally and externally to address the risk of radicalisation and
extremism.
This paper outlines what this means for the Council and asks
Cabinet to agree the approach agreed at CMT that the Council will
meet its statutory requirements under the guidance.
