Community Waste Prevention Fund Introduction and Devolution to Local Committees

Cabinet will be asked to agree the introduction of a Community Waste Prevention Fund to incentivise waste reduction in Cumbria and devolve the grant to Cumbria’s 6 Local Committees.
The new Community Waste Prevention Fund will replace the current Third Party Recycling Credits scheme and will seek to refresh the council’s approach to incentivising waste reduction, reusing, recycling and composting
