Inclusion Strategy

Cabinet will be asked to consider and adopt an Inclusion Strategy outlining the development of educational provision for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and those at risk of social exclusion.

The strategy will develop the current Inclusive Cumbria framework to reflect changes in the pattern of need since the adoption of Inclusive Cumbria. It will include proposals to change the mix of provision across Cumbria to reflect these changes and the changed educational landscape including new SEND legislation.
