Temporary Closure of County Council Premises

Following the announcement by the Government on 23rd March 2020 about new measures introduced to stop the spread of the COVID19, the County Council will temporarily close its premises to the public in order to minimise the public health risk to staff, customers and communities.

This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
The reasons why the desision is urgent are in order to protect the public and to help to contain the coronavirus outbreak. The closures will be temporary in nature and will be lifted once it is deemed to be safe to do so.

It is impractical to defer the decision until it can be included in the next Forward Plan as there is an urgent need to protect the public and to help to prevent further cases of the virus developing.
